Our mousse exclusively composed of duck is prepared with 60% foie gras, which preserves an authentic taste, in addition to giving it a light and creamy texture. By adding blackcurrant cream from Cassis Monna & Filles located in l’île d’Orléans, we give it aromas of ripe red fruits and a full-bodied touch, which will delight all gourmets!
Directions and storage: Refrigerate for three hours before tasting. Temper 15–20 minutes before opening the can to make it easier to unmold. Open both lids and gently push towards the widest part. Stores for 3–6 days in the refrigerator after opening.
Recommended accompaniments : Our duck foie gras mousse is perfect for making appetizers. To spread on plain or nuts crackers, it can also be used to stuff puff pastries. You can add Salt flower, along with some onion confit, fruit jelly, fresh figs and pears.
